2015 in review

Well, Happy New Year’s Eve- Eve! πŸ˜€ Here is my stats for 2015. Enjoy, and thank-you everyone for your comments and support!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 600 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 10 trips to carry that many people.

Boxing Day Special! (OK, maybe)

Gingersnaps! Enjoy these “snaps” warm or cold. Yummy!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine and 1 cup white sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and molasses until well blended. Combine the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; stir into the molasses mixture to form a dough. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and roll the balls in the remaining sugar. Place cookies 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Two days ’till Christmas!

So, 2 days till Christmas! If you’re in my family, technically it’s only one day, because we do our family’s celebrating of Christmas on Christmas Eve, and yeah, I guess you could say it MIGHT be a little complicated. πŸ™‚

As Christmas has rapidly approached and will probably pass quickly (unless you’re alone sitting on a couch eating icecream or some other reason) Β πŸ˜‰ Β what are you thinking about? Yes, I do like gifts, gifts are pretty nice! But think, the greatest gift of all is………………………….

JESUS!

Yes! Jesus! The greatest gift of all! As Christmas approaches, think of Him, truly the best and most wonderful gift! πŸ™‚

December 15, 2015

Hi Everyone~ So, today, I went to a Ladies’ Bible Study to help with childcare there. What does serving make Β you feel like? Good? OK?

When you don’t feel like serving and you’re grumpy and don’t want to serve, but people thank you so much for your loving service and cheerful serving, do you feel bad?

I guess maybe we have our days, we don’t feel like doing much of anything, and we are sinful.

Everyone, if you’d like, would you comment below and tell me your thoughts?

2) Warm, comforting, tea! What is your favourite kind?
3) Holidays- ok, let’s admit- can be either low -key or very, very, VERY stressful. If you could get away from one holiday, what would it be?
4) What is the one type of food, around Thanksgiving and Christmas, that is hardest for you to stay away from? (I’m serious, like, you are just dying to have?)

I nominate:
Have a great Week, everyone!
